Purpose of Event:

Raise awareness of Visit College Station organization and programs.

Bring community awareness to meeting and event vendors and service providers.

Personal Contributions to Event:

Greet event attendees upon arrival.

Provide directions to facilities and vendors located in the hallways outside the event space.

Facilitate exit survey to aid in improving future events.
Lessons Learned from the Experience:

Attendees appreciated the use of QR codes and phone application to track their progress through the event and having a searchable map.

Need to plan for multiple spots to download the phone application to prevent a backup at the registration desk.

Need to confirm vendor attendance 72 hours prior to the event and have a waitlist to fill any unclaimed spots when have limited vendor spaces. This will help prevent the empty booths that interrupt the flow for attendees.

Ensure that the speakers are set apart so that they can be clearly heard by the session's attendees.
