Katie is a 2023 graduate of Texas A&M University with studies in Recreation, Park, and Tourism Science with a focus on Youth Development and Event Management while minoring in Agribusiness Entrepreneurship.

She is planning to open an Agritourism Event & Education Venue south of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex that primarily focuses on alpacas and farm life within 10 years.

She is currently a Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager serving the Energy Division of Alliant Insurance Services. Helping in her local community is of utmost importance and she does so by volunteering her time and skills to support local youth, families and animals. She has been known to knit hats, crochet and quilt blankets that she donates to veterans and hospitals. Additionally, she is an FFA Alumni and sponsor where she shares her agricultural passion with youth. In her spare time, she likes to travel and explore by off-roading in her Jeep.
