Purpose of Event:

Raise funds for Junction Five-0-Five to aid with education and community programs.

Celebrate supporters and program recipients of Junction Five-0-Five programs.
Personal Contributions to Event:

Welcome guests, check in at registration, and provide programs and tickets for drinks and pre-paid flower arrangements.

Passed out thank you gift as attendees departed.

Provide directions to various areas of event within the Gardens.
Lessons Learned from the Experience:

Need for better registration check-in system as there were two different attendee lists making it difficult to confirm who had paid and who we needed to collect registration fee from. Also, multiple attendees under each registration with no lead person to hand all tickets to causing a backup at the welcome table during the first half of the event.

Sponsors and supports enjoyed having the free-flowing event instead of the sit-down dinners held in prior years.

All volunteers were not able to get food or drinks. Might need to plan for a runner or relief person to bring refreshments so all volunteers have equal access.

No plan for attendee feedback at event so might want to include that as an option for future events.
